Our Intro To Climbing Course is the perfect course for beginners! You can’t go wrong climbing around Zion. Children from as young as 5 years old have crushed this course. This intro course offers you the comfort of going out with our AMGA certified climbing guide or an accomplished rock and alpine climber.  All of our local climbing guides are passionate rock climbers dedicated to Zion area and Southern Utah climbing. We look forward to sharing our knowledge of the area with you. Our passion is climbing and we truly enjoy sharing these beautiful cliffs with others. From sandstone to basalt and limestone, we have areas that are perfect for all ages and ability levels.

During your Intro To Climbing Course you will learn the first things you need to know to become an accomplished rock climber. Our trips are FULL DAY trips that last for 6-7 hours per day which includes some light hiking (under 1 hour) so wear comfortable hiking shoes. Your guide will provide you with all the needed gear prior to your trip. Just remember to bring plenty of water and some snacks or a lunch.

We want to accommodate you, so all our trips are private. As a result, your start time can be adjusted around your travel plans and you will never be grouped with others unless requested.

Note: As directed by the Superintendent, paid guiding for canyoneering and climbing trips is not permitted within Zion National Park. All trips and courses are done outside of the park in beautiful locations. Details will be given when you call to book your course or trip.
